heh heh..i have a real temptation to put a few star stickers on her forhead and start singing the 'young ones'…love it though, sometimes it sticks straight up and sometimes just kind of curly like a little tube wave on her head…surfs up dude!
She is still a bit of a random sleeper and that is largely why i am so tired but I can also attribute the tiredness to Isaac having a bad dream and getting into our bed the night before last and also the fact that Ben had Ofsted, the school inspection people, on monday and tuesday of this week. I dont like Ofsted, it turns usually calm people into overactive worriers and their partners bear some of the brunt of it too….aaand it doesnt prove much really…pah!! its the new four (well five) letter word in this house….
I could go on for a long time about how ridiculously under-valued teachers are…it bugs me when people go 'oh well, at least if you are a teacher you get all those holidays!" There is the overtime, planning, marking, pressure from parents, school governers, ofsted reports. It bugs me that teachers seem to be expected to 'parent' kids as well as teach them. I mean im all for good role models in school but the buck stops with the parents ultimately and its way to easy to blame teachers for kids rubbish behaviour and attitude. Don't you think?
Anyway Im going to get off my soap box and put it away because im too tired and i need to get some sleep before any one of the number of people who live in this house wake me up.
