feeling tired….

yeah i know…not much of a shock there. I took this on saturday with a new little gadget I got for the camera from ebay. A remote…..no more flicking the switch and running for my life only to find that it has focused on the wrong thing. So you never know you may just see a few more pictures of yours truly….

anyway blessings for tonight, I am off to sleep before my early morning call….

Im getting used to it now, the passage of time. Its still cantering along but I seem to have come to a bit more of a point of acceptance whereas before i think i was in a bit of denial. Its all part of the process i guess. We are loving having her around, she is a cool baby. Fairly laid back and flashing smiles at people quite a bit. The girls are still really into her and want to hold her a lot, which is lovely but they do tend to squash her and wake her up when the hold her!! But Poppy said to me the other day when i was trying to get the baby back from her after her cuddle….

"i want to cuddle her, because I love her"

awwww…..

out ‘n about

last weekend we went up Moel Famau, i think that is how you spell it…its a hill in Wales which is about an hour or so drive away. It was a beautiful day so we decided to go and see if we could trek up it. I was skeptical given that we have four children, all fairly little….

But they all did well. Isaac and Maisie especially, who both walked up to the top and back. Poppy caught a lift a lot in the buggy which gave Ben a bit of a workout pushing it up over the bump and cracks in the path.

It was SO good to see Isaac running up the hill, he was determined to get to the top first. But it was lovely to see him enjoying the outside and not asking after the screen based entertainment that seems to be ruling his world at the moment. Im not against it at all but there is something so nice about seeing a kid enjoying running and jumping and just being a kid outside. Something which I feel we really lack here.

It made us both think of our future plans and possibly how this could be more of an everyday thing rather than the occasional…..

surfacing…

briefly to post. Its been a busy week, my first week without another adult in tow during the day to make the ratio a bit better…

and its gone ten so i am sat in bed with the 'lappy' and trying hard not to nod off.

So hows it been? Monday was okay, no..good in fact, i went and got a baby bjorn carrier from Mothercare and little miss Matilda hasnt really been out of it since. I got one of those 'slings' before she was born in a sale and not one of us can get on with it. I had her in it once and i swear she was going blue her airway was so scrunched up….so anyways..that makes things a bit easier.

Tuesday was a day of RAGE from Poppy. oh boy..she wore me out….

Wednesday..i had a nasty experience with the customer service people in Tescos….over something very trivial but the dragons treated me like i was an idiot who had no ability to make my own decisions.

The other two days i cant really remember so cant have been that bad.

So no too bad, all it all. Tomorrow morning is the beginning of round 2…

leaving you with this…
