today, this is all that is left of our car. It has gone to salvagers and we got this cheque through the post. All that time, money and miles comes down to this cheque.
There was a time when i would have been sentimental about cars, yes really..ask me about my VW Beetle called Gloria 🙂 Now though im not so bothered. The car we had was fab, it did what we needed it too most of the time, three of our babies came home from hospital in it..it took us on lots of holidays and has been frequently weighed down with bags, camping equipment and the other general detritus of large family life… but it was just a car…and what matters most are the folk that are actually in the car rather than the car itself.
So here it is…the last little bit of a family car….
