Welcome to my new home. Do you like it? have a look around…its a bit like a new shoe at the moment, giving me the odd blister but just pushing through knowing it will become a comfy pair of trainers……..
So in honour of my new sparkly home right here..how about a fabulous giveaway…oh go on then.
in honour of my first official post on this blog i am hosting an awesome giveaway from Sportsshoes.com. They have incredibly offered ย the lucky winner a fabulous pair of running shoes worth up to ย value of ยฃ90.
I have recently taken up running, its an easy, fast, and efficient way for me to exercise. 25 minutes of jogging and thats a milkway bar right there ๐
So here is what you need to do just leave me a comment with your email address and tell me what exercise you like to do? Do you run? Zumba? power walk? Just let me know and you could be choosing from some fabulous running shoes like these:
Having been on a serious diet over the last year (2stone lost!) I have no decided to get fit as well! So following the good example of another lovely blogger I am embarking on the http://www.c25k.com/ Should have started 4 weeks ago – but chest infection got in the way so have just restarted it now! Hopefully I will succeed! Being out early in the morning when no one else is up and about is lovely – peaceful and time to think as well as run!
Mary, i have a few friends doing the C25K thing and yes the early morning is so lovely xx
My favourite way to exercise is swimming. But running is a lot easier to fit into the daily routine and so I’ve been meaning to find a pair of running shoes for ages! Great comp : )
Well with a toddler amd baby exercise is a luxury! But I do zumba (very badly) on the wii and I’ve recently started running again. It’s a great to leave the girls with Adam and just run on my own, I find it very relaxing.
I love the new site x
thanks so much leoni xx
Love the new home! Gorgeous!
I like walking and getting out in the fresh air. Like swimming running and aerobics bit never get to do them anymore.
thx rebecca. took many late nights!!
My favourite way to keep for is by attending bootcamp.
I am a serious CrossFit addict! 3 times per week I get a beasting from two strapping young men who virtually kill me and my friends. Then we come back for more! I have even gone Paleo with my diet, and it’s working a treat!!! More muscle, less body fat. Stronger and healthier. The shoes could be a godsend as mine are getting worn out!! (I also Zumba with old ladies to make me feel better, and do Pilates) zzzzz
The new site looks great, BTW! Helen
thanks Helen. I have nearly given myself a break down trying to work out wordpress ๐
I love cycling or going for long walks with the pram along the prom! @chelseamamma
I like to swim and walk x
Hiya! Having led a sedentary lifestyle for more years than I care to remember, I decided enough was enough 6 weeks ago and I started to follow the NHS’s Couch to 5k plan. A bit of a strange choice because up until then I’d always hated running! 6 weeks later and I’m amazed at how far I’ve come already and the difference it’s made to me physically and mentally. It turns out running is a good fit in my lifestyle – it doesn’t cost anything to do, I can do it anywhere and I like to run after my kids are in bed. I’ve been writing about my progress on my blog (http://ahellofawoman.blogspot.co.uk).
I”m keeping my fingers crossed for this giveaway as I’d love some proper running shoes.
I like to walk, and enjoy Nordic walking
Absolutely love your new site, it’s fab!
My favourite sport is running, and a new pair of trainers might inspire me to start doing it again!

When I can I love to run, away away from the children!
Running is my thing! Did my first race, a half marathon, last weekend & thoroughly enjoyed it!! I’ve lost 3.5 stone through healthy eating & running. I don’t particularly enjoy the running mind you, but very much enjoy it once I’ve finished!
Running is my thing at the moment, though what I actually love is dancing, aerobics, that kind of thing but find it hard to fit it around work and childcare. Running is great as I can fit it in right before work when everyone is still fast asleep. It’s lovely to run down the streets and see them completely void of people at 5:30am!
PS I love your new site!
I commented yesterday but it doesn’t appear to be here ๐ will try again…
I’m loving your new site ๐
I started running last August, having never understood why people enjoyed it. I’m now training for the great north run in September. Eeep! A new pair of shoes might be a bit of a boost with the training ๐
I’m a walker, at heart I’m a northerner so I’m used to walking/treking up hills but it’s mainly the beach I walk on now
@littleboo_21
I haven’t run for years but recently downloaded the couch to 5K podcasts onto my phone ready to get started with exercise again. All these comments have inspired me to get going! Or get running!
I swim & walk the most often although if Im on my own I do run or power walk
My exercise of choice is bootcamp, I do 3 morning sessions a week and 3 evening sessions!
Was a complete exercisephobe at the start of the year but I finally found something I enjoy.
Lost 2 stone & 25.5 inches in 5 months.
I’ve been so inspired by my friends lately. I couple did the Copenhagen marathon and my husband last weekend just did the London to Brighton bike ride. My legs are itching to run again … I’ve been out of it for a while, but would LOVE to get back into running and do some active things with my friends instead of watching from the sidelines!
I am in the process of signing up for a 10k or half marathon and determined to run like a mother! i.e. in the opposite direction to the hoovering/laundry/nappies/soft play centres…..
